The Indian Army is looking for a few good Men and Women. For the best and the brighest amongst you. For men/women with intellect, idealism and courage. Applications are invited from unmarried/married male and unmarried female or widow of defence candidates for for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army.

* Vacancies : 58 posts [50 posts (10% reserved for wards of Battle Casualties of Army only) for male and 08 posts for women]
* Age : Not below 19 years and not over 25 years (not born earlier than 02 January 1986 and not later than 01 January 1992)
* The Criteria of NCC 'C' Certificate holders to appear directly for SSB for SSC (Non-Technical) at Officers Training Academy, Chennai : (i) Educational Qualification : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all years. (ii) Service in NCC : Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division of NCC (iii) Grading : Should have minimum of 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam of NCC.
* Wards of Battle Casualties : Holding of NCC 'C' Certificate at the time of filling of applications not required. Wards of Battle Casualties send their applications direct to Addl. Dte. Gen of Recruiting, Recruiting NCC Entry, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066. A letter to the effect that the parent has been killed/ wounded/ reported missing in action issued by MP/Dte/ Respective Regimental Records and a copy of Part II Order notifying injuries and being classified as Battle Casualtieis in case of Service/Medically boarded out pers. Last date for receipt of application at Rtg Dte 15/09/2010 for this category.
* Pay Scale & Stipend : Stipend during the period of training is Rs.21000/-. On completion they will be commissioned as Lt in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 wth Grade Pay 5400 and MSP Rs.6000/- and other allowances.
* Method of Selection : All Applications in the prescribed format will be forwarded to Rtg. Directorate (NCC) through HQ DG NCC. The NCC Units/GP HQs will forward the applications to State Directorates who in turn will forward the same to Hq DG NCC. On arrival at the SSB, the Shortlisted candidates will be administered stage-1 of the two stage testing procedure.
* Medical Examination : Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

How to Apply: Apply on the plain paper as per the prescribed format. Applications should be posted to the Units from where the NCC 'C' certificate has been issued. Applications of candidates serving in the Armed Forces duly counter-signed by the commanding Officer should be sent to the OC, NCC West Block- IV , R.K. Puram, New Delhi - 110066. All NCC units will forward the application to DDG, NCC of the concerned state. DDG NCC will process all applications and forward them to Dte Gen NCC.

ILI Indian Law Institute Recruitment 2010

The Indian Law Institute (ILI) is a Deemed University established on 27th December 1956. The Law Minister of Government of India & the Attorney-General for India are its ex-officio Vice Presidents. its Library is one of the best libraries in the country. The membership of the Institute is now nearly three thousand representing the persons interested in the study and advancement of law. Besides performing important advisory role in fostering the empirical research and making law as an instrument of social engineering, it undertakes research on current legal issues. Its main aim is to cultivate and promote the science of law and to contribute substantially in reforming the administration of justice, so as to meet the socio-economic aspirations and needs of the people through law and its instrumentalities.

ILI invites applications for the various posts :

  1. 3 posts are for Research Professors
    Pay scale : Rs. 37400-67000/- with AGP of Rs. 10000/-
    qualification : candidate should be an scholar with Ph.D. qualification in any branch of law and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work.
    Experience : At least 10 years of teaching experience in university/college, and/ or experience in research at the University/ National Level institutions/ industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
  2. 2 posts are for Associate Research Professors
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 8000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should posses Ph.D. degree in any branch of law with 55% marks.
    Experience : 8 years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/ College or Accredited Research Institution/ industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research / policy papers.
  3. 3 posts are for Assistant Research Professors
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 6000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have scored minimum 55% marks at the Master’s degree level LL.M. from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  4. 1 for Assistant Librarian
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 6000/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have Masters degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with minimum 55% marks with knowledge on computerization of library and should have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET).
  5. 1 post for Assistant Controller of Examination
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 5400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have scored 55% marks at masters degree level.
    Experience : 5 years Administration/ Academic experience relating to conduct and evaluation of university examination or institution of higher education.
  6. 1 post for Accounts Officer
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 5400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have the degree of M.Com with 55% marks / CA/ ICWA/ MBA (Finance).
    Experience : 5 years of experience of maintenance and audit of accounts etc. in a reputed Educational Institutions/ Universities/ Central /State Government’s Departments/ Autonomous Bodies etc. from reputed institutes.
  7. 1 for Computer System Administrator
    Pay scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP of Rs. 5400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have degree of BE (Computer Engineering/IT) / MCA with atleast 55% marks.
    Experience : 5 years of experience of management of hardware & software devices, Digital library and website design, knowledge of windows and Linux platform, ability to implement network security, firewall, routers etc.
  8. 1 for Editorial Assistant
    Pay scale : Rs. 9300-34800/- with GP of Rs. 4600/-
    Qualification : Candidate should have Bachelor degree in English and LL.B. with the knowledge of computers .
  9. 1 for Library Assistant
    Pay scale : Rs. 9300-34800/- with GP of Rs. 4200/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with Degree/ Diploma in Library Science .
    Experience : At least 1 year of experience in a Library .
  10. 3 posts are for Junior Library Assistants
    Pay scale : Rs. 5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2400/-
    Qualification : Candidate should be graduate with with Certificate Course in Library Science and knowledge of English and computers.

Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 33 years as on 13.07.2010 and for OBC (NCL)
candidates 36 years.
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.24900-50500.
Qualification:Candidates should be Graduate in Engineering in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering / Information Technology with minimum 60% marks from recognised Institute/ University.
Officer (Environment Management) / E2A
Posts: 5
Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 33 years for UR, 36 for OBC (NCL), 38 for SC as on 13.07.2010
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.24900-50500.
Qualification: Candidates should have a Master Degree with at least 60% marks in Natural Resource Management / Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Engineering or equivalent from recognized Institute/ University.
Rajbhasha Adhikari / E2A

Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 33 years as on 13.07.2010
Remuneration: Candidates will get remuneration of Rs.24900-50500.
