A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted on 27/11/2011 by the IBPS as a preliminary stage for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre positions in the following 19 Public Sector Banks.

Successful candidates in the Common Written Exam (CWE) will be given a scorecard (Like the CAT exam scorecard of the IIM's) and may apply to any of the participating bank when the participating banks have job vacancies and the successful candidates will have to quote their personal details and their CWE scores.

Each of the participating banks will issue individual recruitment notifications, details of vacancies, eligibility criteria etc. separately as per their requirements.


Clerical posts :

• Age Limits : Age between 18-28 years as on 01/08/2011 are accepted , age relaxation as per norms for SC/ST/OBC/ PWDs/ Ex.-SM
• Minimum Qualification : 60% marks in Matriculate/ SSC/ SSLC/ 10th standard (passing marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ ExSM candidates only) OR 50% marks in HSC / 11th of 10+1+3 pattern (passing marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ ExSM candidates only) OR Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Application Instruction for CWE : Interested candidates need to apply Online at IBS website from 25/08/2011 to 24/09/2011 only.


Application Fee :A fee of Rs.350/- (Rs.50/- in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates only) is payable,which can be paid online at the time of filling the application form online through Online Payment Gateways of the Banks or through Credit Card OR through NEFT OR to be deposited in any CBS branch of 6 banks out of 19 Participating banks (for fee details kindly see the detailed advertisement carefully before making the payment) .
