LIC invites online applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) (Generalists / Marketing/ Finance/ Investment/ Under Writing/IT/ Customer Relations/ Actuarial/ HR/ Legal/ Public Relation etc. streams) in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).The post details are as follows:
- Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) : 750 posts (Unreserved-379, OBC-201, SC-114, ST-56) (PH-23) ,
- Age limits : 21-30 as on 01/11/2013,
- Pay band : Rs 17240 - 32640/-
Selection Process : The Selection will be solely based on the performance of the candidates in the Online Competitive Examination which is to be held on 11th / 12th May 2013.
How to Apply : Apply Online. Online application can be submitted at LIC website between 05/03/2013 to 01/04/2013 only.
Fee : A Cash deposit of Rs. 500/- is to be made at any branch of SBI .Rs 50/- for SC/ ST candidates, PH candidates are exempted from application fee. Candidates can submit the fee online also.

- Direct Sales Executives (DSE) : 275 posts (Warangal (Khammam) -105, Kadapah (Kurnool) - 43, Machilipatnam (Vijaywada) - 80, Vishakhapatnam-47), Age : 21-35 years as on 01/12/2010, relaxation as per rules., Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India. Preference may be given to those applicants who possess who possess the Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing /Management. Good working knowledge of English and also one Regional language preferably local language is desirable. Knowledge of soft skills such as Power Point / Word / Excel would be additional advantage.
