UPPSC will hold preliminary exam for the various posts of
Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (Preliminary)
Examination-2013 in various centers of the state of Uttar Pradesh.The post details are as follows:
Posts Details : 200 posts for various subordinate services Officers for
Govt. of UP. There is a special vacancy for 13 posts
(Dy. Collector-5, Nayab Tehsildar-6, Treasury/ Accounts Officer-2) for
Physically weaker/ handicapped candidates.
Qualification needed: A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent is a must and special qualifications for certain posts.
Age Limit : Age should be 21-40 years as on 01/07/2013. Relaxation for reserved categories as per prevailing Govt. Norms.
Application Instructions : Candidates must apply Online at UPPSC website portal at http://uppsc.up.nic.in/Notifications.aspx on or before the stipulated deadline i.e, 25/04/2013.

Duly filled applications are being invited by UPPSC for its vacant positions in various departments.The positions are as follows :
- Assistant Engineer ,Civil: No of posts: 137 (category-wise:UR-69, SC-28, ST-03, OBC-37) in Irrigation Department.
- Assistant Engineer ,Civil :No of posts: 53 (category-wise:UR-27, SC-11, ST-1, OBC-14) in Irrigation Department.
- Assistant Engineer ,Mechanical : No of posts: 16 (category-wise:UR-1, SC-5, ST-04, OBC-6) in Irrigation Department.
- Assistant Engineer ,Electrical/ Mechanical : No of posts: 11 (category-wise:UR-5, SC-3, OBC-3) in PWD.
- Assistant Director ,Factories : No of posts: 26 category-wise:UR-11, SC-8, OBC-7) in Labor Department.
- Assistant Director ,Boilers: No of posts: 04 (category-wise:UR-3, OBC-1) in Labor Department.
Pay Band :Above mentioned posts have a pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 ,grade pay of Rs.5400/-.

Completed application in the prescribed OMR application forms must be submitted only upto 06/01/2012 .
OMR Application forms will be available in all the Head Post Officer/ designated Post Offices of all the districts from 10/12/2011 to 06/01/2011 in the state of UP only.

Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination - 2011
UPPSC shall hold preliminary examination for the various positions of Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination-2011 in various centers of UP.
OMR Application is applicable to this examination through Head Post Office of every district or from designated Post Offices. The prescribed cost of the application form for Special Recruitment for series PREGEN is Rs.155/- and for Series PRERES (for SC/ST of UP only) is Rs.155/-. The candidates must keep with them a photocopy of their OMR application form.
