Duly filled in applications are being  invited from Engineering Graduates who are male Indian Nationals for the   Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical course in the Indian Army.The post details with the number of posts vacant(given in brackets) are as follows :

• 40th SSC (Technical) Men :  (52) .From the various Engineering streams.
• 11th SSC (Technical) Women : (35) . From the various Engineering streams.
• Widows of Defence Personnel : (02) 

 Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 and a MPS of Rs.6000/-

Age limits: An age limit of 20-27 years for Technical men and women and 19-29/20-31years for Widows of Defense Personnel.

Application instructions:

• Eligible candidates should apply online at the Army recruitment website http://joinindianarmy.nic.in  within the application period i.e, from 01/08/2012 to 31/08/2012 only. 
• Then take a print of the online application form ,duly filled in with extreme caution
